Taiwan-Japan Startup Collaboration: Startup Go!Go! Business Matchmaking Event Successfully Held

To foster connections and collaboration between Taiwanese and Japanese startups, the Startup Go!Go! business matchmaking event, hosted by Startup Go!Go! and co-organized by FFG Venture Business Partner and the Kyushu Economic Federation, was held in Fukuoka. The event brought together multiple Japanese venture capital firms, companies, and organizations, along with 10 Taiwanese startup teams, to explore entrepreneurial resources and partnership opportunities.

As a local startup support organization in Fukuoka, Startup Go!Go! has long been dedicated to assisting international startups in entering the Japanese market. Through deep collaborations with local industries and enterprises, it provides resources for startups to accelerate their growth. Its venture capital arm, GxPartners, established in 2019, actively promotes early-stage startup investments, serving as a key driver of innovation in the Fukuoka region.

The event began with brief introductions to Taiwan’s entrepreneurial environment and resources by representatives from the Hsinchu Science Park Bureau, National Chiao Tung University Industry Accelerator Center, and Asia Pacific Accelerator Network. This was followed by captivating presentations from Taiwanese startup teams, showcasing their innovative technologies and service highlights. The engaging atmosphere encouraged Japanese venture capital firms and companies to show strong interest in the potential of Taiwanese startups and to initiate discussions for potential collaboration.

Through in-depth networking sessions, the event successfully facilitated mutual understanding and collaboration opportunities between Taiwan and Japan within the startup ecosystem. Taiwanese representatives noted that the Startup Go!Go! event not only provided insights into the operations of the Japanese market but also enabled them to find potential collaboration partners. They look forward to advancing the application of innovative technologies and expanding markets together in the future.
