The Taiwan-Japan startup networking event was held today at CIC Tokyo, bringing together 10 Taiwanese startup teams and local Japanese companies and investors to explore opportunities for innovative collaboration. This event showcased the strength of Taiwanese startups and deepened connections between the two sides in technology and market development.
CIC Tokyo, one of the largest entrepreneurial hubs in Asia, has been dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs, investors, corporate representatives, and government officials from around the world since its establishment in 2018. CIC Tokyo maintains close collaboration with Taiwan’s Startup Island, jointly promoting the development of the Taiwan-Japan entrepreneurial ecosystem.
During the event, Taiwanese startup teams delivered three-minute pitches to demonstrate the innovative value of their technologies and products, engaging in in-depth Q&A and discussions with Japanese companies and investors. Representatives from CIC Tokyo also introduced the center’s role as a hub for innovation ecosystems and shared resources and success stories that support global startup teams and enterprises.

At the conclusion of the event, Taiwanese startup teams expressed that the activity provided them with a valuable opportunity to showcase their innovative capabilities to international partners and gain deeper insights into the demands of the Japanese market and the operations of its innovation ecosystem. CIC Tokyo representatives also remarked on their anticipation of continued collaboration between Taiwan and Japan, fostering the growth of the global innovation ecosystem.
