Japan Business and Media Training Workshop

August 28, 2024

n recent years, Taiwan-Japan startup exchanges have been thriving. To help Taiwanese startups gain deeper insights into the Japanese market and explore business opportunities, AAN (Asia-Pacific Accelerator Network) organized the Japan Business and Media Training Workshop. Two experts were invited to analyze the challenges and opportunities of the Japanese market from the dual perspectives of “startups” and “venture capital.”

▲Introduction of Two Speakers

Before the formal lectures began, participating startups were asked to give a “one-sentence company introduction.” This activity not only fostered networking among the startups but also helped the speakers better understand the participants’ fields, allowing them to provide more tailored advice.

The first lecture featured Angie, an Associate Vice President at CDIB Capital Group. She shared invaluable insights on how venture capital views startup fundraising and international expansion. As a key player in connecting Taiwan-Japan startup ecosystems, CDIB Capital has long been instrumental in fostering these relationships. Angie’s sharing provided valuable takeaways for startups interested in entering the Japanese market.
